Tomato Pesto Cheeseball Appetizer Mix
Tomato. Pesto. Need we say more? Serve with a variety of crackers and fresh veggies. Or try spreading on slices of French or Italian bread and warm in the oven.
Tomato Pesto Alfredo
1 Tomato Pesto Cheeseball & Appetizer Mix
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 box penne pasta
1/4 Tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup torn fresh basil leaves
Combine Tomato Pesto Cheeseball Mix with cream cheese and butter. Mix until smooth. Set aside or put in refrigerator overnight.*
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well. Stir in half of the Tomato Pesto Cheeseball Mix and toss lightly, making sure you get the pasta coated well. Add more mix if needed.
Save the rest for spreading on toast triangles garnished with a slice of pimento olive.
Serve with Italian salad, toast triangles, grilled veal chops, pork chops or sauteed veal cutlets in a light wine sauce. Garnish with torn basil and fresh ground pepper.
