Rub with Love Grilled Chicken

Serves 4
4 tablespoons Rub with Love Chicken Spice Rub
1 three pound chicken, cut into parts
1 cup your favorite bbq sauce, or as needed


Fire up the grill for medium heat.
Pat spice rub evenly over both sides of the chicken parts.

Grill over indirect medium heat, with the grill covered, turning the chicken parts as needed until cooked through and the internal temperature of the chicken is 165°F, about 40 to 45 minutes.
Watch carefully so sugars in rub do not burn, moving chicken to a cooler part of the grill if necessary.
Brush chicken with BBQ Sauce and continue to grill on both sides a few more minutes. Remove from the grill and serve.

Try this lusty, full flavored blend of whole coriander, fennel and mustard seeds, cracked rosemary and extra-coarse sea salt accented with onion and garlic. It gives any roast a distinctive savory spice crust. Try it on a standing rib roast, chuck roast, leg of lamb, pork roast or even meat loaf. 3.5oz

"Roast Rub" Roasted Butternut Squash

A Tom DouglasŪ Recipe

1 medium-size butternut squash
3 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons "Rub with Love" Roast Rub


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Peel and cube squash into a 1" dice - should yield approx. 4 cups.

Toss squash with olive oil and Roast Rub to coat; then disperse onto a baking sheet tray.

Cook approx. 25 minutes (tossing midway through cooking time) until squash is soft and evenly browned.
